MARS UHF Omnidirectional Antenna is a ruggedized, broadband, omni directional antenna covering the VHF band (215 to 420 MHz). The antenna is a modified, skeleton disk - conical type antenna, designed for use in conditions where rugged construction and wide bandwidth are necessary. The antennas' excellent phase characteristics allow them to be easily used in DF applications as well as in array configurations for obtaining directive patterns and additional gain.
